Still very much involved, Richard Senior is extremely proud of the achievements of the second generation of the Healey family, in the shape of Richard Junior and his sister Georgina Berry, as they steer the business into its 51st year of continued growth, together with Operations Manager, Barry Howitt. Richard Healey Removals Ltd employs 32 staff many of whom are young people recruited through career partnerships with local schools and colleges. “The firm’s type and size of client varies from families who have used our domestic removal services for generations, to local authorities or blue chip businesses looking for a high-quality move management programme with large commercial relocations,” says Georgina. Investment in vehicles, technology and branding remains a top priority throughout every financial year at Richard Healey Removals. Focus is now geared toward expansion of an already comprehensive training programme, improving further upon exceptional training and conference facilities.
The company’s new headquarters in Beith, with significant storage facilities, has as expected allowed for a wider offering of storage services, including the addition of a number of self-storage rooms. The association with Simply Shredding has also seen significant investment in this new arm of the business, offering secure document destruction.
