Nowadays the second generation of the Healey family, in the shape of Richard Junior and his sister Georgina Berry, manage the business together with Operations Manager, Barry Howitt. Richard Healey Removals Ltd employs 32 staff many of who are young people recruited through career partnerships with local schools and colleges.

Investment in vehicles, staff training, technology and branding remains a top priority throughout every financial year at Richard Healey Removals. To celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary Richard Healey Removals currently has in build a DAF XF Super space cab road train, which will be the first vehicle to be used solely in international relocations since the company obtained an International Operator’s Licence. The company’s new headquarters in Beith offers 100,000 square feet of storage, which will enable the company to plan for future expansion.
