Richard Healey Removals Ltd has received an award in a prestigious competition - Scottish Rewards, Transport News 2012. Richard Healey Removals Ltd based in Ayrshire has been named winner of The Transport News, Scotland’s Top Training Truck Operator 2012. Richard Healey Removals have been up against some of Scotland’s largest transport firms and their continuous staff development plan has put them on top. The firm provides a variety of courses for staff with the aim to encourage and nurture high standards.

Founded in 1965 by Richard Healey Snr., Richard Healey Removals Limited started trading with a single van specialising in the Glasgow to London route. Since then, we have seen the business expand serving customers not only within Scotland and the UK but also globally. We have expanded our offerings to include a wide range of storage solutions as well as other value-added services to ensure that we are a one-stop facility for all your removal and storage requirements.

With Richard Healey Jnr., Barry Howitt and Georgina Berry at the helm of family business and ably supported by our team of removal experts, we have not only maintained our reliable and high quality service but we continue to invest in fleet, storage and staff training to ensure we provide an incomparable service to our customers. For your peace of mind, they are required to be cleared by Disclosure Scotland and your items are also covered by our insurance. This work culture has resulted in making us Scotland’s Top Training Truck Operator 2012 by Transport News, our industry’s key publication. We were honoured to receive this award from HRH Princess Anne. In addition, we were also the finalists for Domestic Removal of the Year for 2011.
